Competition for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize is fierce and judging has attracted criticism and controversy
Every year I visit the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery. The exhibition runs between November and February and brings a vast array of photographic portraiture to the general public. Each year I follow the progress with interest and wait patiently for the winner to be announced. The competition is fierce and the judging has attracted much criticism and controversy in photographic circles.
